Seriously? It is the fucking 21st century. You are living your life off of a book when it was ok to use slaves based on race and women were objects? Also havent you heard of the separation of church and state? So no the bible doesnt fucking control america you piece of shit. And if 1/3 thinks they shouldnt, that means 2/3 doesnt it? Unless math isnt covered in your fucking bible. 

Idk where this homophobe is, and Im not gay. But Id totally force him to watch me makeout with a guy while he screams in pain and says we are going to hell. While I point out only 37% of americans believe in hell. 

I believe in God. But I do not believe in shoving my beliefs down your throat. God gave us free will. If one chooses to live their life a certain way, then they should be allowed to. This is why I gave up church: how dare you tell me that just because I choose to date a woman, my beliefs mean nothing. I believe that God is the ultimate judge, and that only the first 10 commandments (none of which that say homosexuality or sex before marriage is wrong beyond “Thou shall not commit adultery”) matter. I live my life in belief that mankind is at fault for their own problems, and that the cause does stem from this type of belief.

What this child here is advocating extremist behavior. This was the same as the Muslims who are extremists. While it is true that not all Christians and Muslims are extremists, the ones that are do make the religion look bad for the rest of the world. Is this honestly how you wish your religion to be portrayed: stripping others of their free will and right to chose their life? As someone who is close minded and refusing to realize the bigger picture? Or do you wish to be seen as peaceable rather than hostile? What exactly are you compensating for? Does the lad doth protest too much?

actually, neither god nor jesus said that homosexuality was a sin. it’s in other parts of the bible where it states that. it never came from god or jesus’s mouth. at the time when the bible was written, it was a sin. because at that point, it would have devastated life if two men lived together and had no children. because when they grew old, someone else’s child would have to take care of them. since that is no longer a problem, it’s not a sin. 

why is this still holding true? the bible also says that we shouldn’t mix fibers in clothing. well, we do, don’t we? why can we ignore that, but not ignore an outdated belief that two men or two women should not be together?

what is god? god is love. god is all about love. so by not allowing gay couples to marry or adopt or condemning them for loving one another, we aren’t following god. we’re following outdated traditions that made sense in their time period, but no longer.

love thy neighbor as thyself. you are commanded to love yourself. you are commanded to love your fellow people. it is not our job, as humans, to punish those for their “sins.” if you truly believe homosexuality is a sin, then allow god to take care of it.
